Project Description

This project aims to leverage both Chinese philosophical heritage and Sino-Western philosophical exchange to deal with theological questions and themes, with a particular focus on Christian philosophical theology. Rather than simply producing comparative studies of Sino-Western philosophical and theological traditions, the project focuses on the constructive articulation of Chinese philosophical theology, drawing primarily on Chinese philosophy as a source for Christian theological re"ection and discourse. By doing so, the purpose of the symposia is not only to develop Chinese philosophical theology as such but also to explore what Chinese philosophical traditions can offer to foster philosophical theology as a discipline.
